Licences and medicals

Reviewed requirements for pilots

Before a pilot can offer flights through Aviatefinder, the licence, rating and medical information stored in the pilot profile is reviewed.

Documentation

What is reviewed

  • Pilot licence

A current pilot licence and the relevant licence information must be provided before activation.

  • Ratings

Relevant ratings are recorded so the qualifications stated in the profile can be traced.

  • Medical

The required medical documentation forms part of the Aviatefinder verification process.

  • Identity

Identity is checked before pilot functions are activated.

Why it matters

Why are these documents reviewed?

The process supports transparency and trust between pilots and travellers. It does not replace the pilot’s continuing legal and operational responsibility.

Keep documents current

Pilots must update their documentation when it changes or expires. Pilot functions may be restricted while required evidence is no longer valid.

Safety starts with traceable documentation.
