Right of withdrawal for flight bookings
For flights booked through Aviatefinder for a specifically agreed flight date or period, there is generally no statutory 14-day right of withdrawal where the service relates to a leisure activity. Section 312g(2), no. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB) provides an exception from the right of withdrawal for such date-specific services.
However, this does not mean that a booking with Aviatefinder cannot be cancelled.
Cancelling a flight
Irrespective of the statutory right of withdrawal, you may cancel your flight booking before the scheduled flight.
The following applies in the event of cancellation:
Flight price: refunded in full.
Aviatefinder service fee: not refunded.

Contracts carrying a statutory right of withdrawal
Where a contract concluded through Aviatefinder carries a statutory right of withdrawal, the withdrawal period is generally 14 days. The withdrawal must be declared unambiguously to the relevant trader.
For services, an existing right of withdrawal may expire under certain conditions if the service has been fully performed and the consumer previously expressly consented to performance beginning before the end of the withdrawal period and acknowledged the loss of the right of withdrawal.
Declaring withdrawal
Where you have a statutory right of withdrawal, you may declare your withdrawal by email, for example:

An unambiguous statement that you wish to withdraw from the contract concerned is sufficient.
